Astro-English: from Astronese, the prefix ex- is used as a variation of the prefix exo- meaning “outside” or “from beyond” to denote extraterrestrial life, while the suffix -anthropy denotes “humanity” and hence altogether meaning “humanity coming into contact with extraterrestrial life” or in a separate sense, “humanity transforming into or becoming as one with extraterrestrial life.”
